My Heaven or Hell

As i was riding up Alpine Express on Aspen mountain it suddenly stopped just for a minute or so. But as it stopped it suddenly began to snow, and a cloud passed over the great beautiful sun. It reminded me of a time a few years back when I was riding this exact lift. I was skiing with my mom. Then her phone rang. Seeing we were stopped she answered it. We had just been notified that my dad's legs had been paralyzed in a car crash. It wasn't serious but it was enough he had a 1 percent chance of getting his legs back. His health started to fail. He was on the verge of death. His "final day" as the doctor saw it he started to get his legs back. We were walking out as it happened but suddenly I felt two strong arms pick me up! Of course it was my dad. He never could ski with out a brace but he still skiied. He was going to go to the '88 winter olympics but before he went to qualifying he fell and was hospitalized for a year. As I saw this scene again I rememered something he said to me, "Sometimes it doesnt matter how hard you fall but no matter what you always get up again."
