Location: Stowe, Vermont, US
General InfoNooks, crannys, cliff drops and more! Stowe, home to the legendary Jake (Burton) Carpenter boasts stellar back country lines for the ones in the know, as well as a beautiful new Spruce Base lodge. The choice of many of the northern Vermont shredders, this mountain has a little bit of everything.
Their parks have been improving more and more over the recent years, which puts smiles on the faces of the little groms looking to work on their backside 9 mutes. The trails are steep and kept pretty well groomed unless a big dump of fresh comes along, then it is au natural for the lucky takers. For those looking for that fresh untouched line, there are numerous spots trickled all over Mansfield and Spruce.
Do yourself a favor and befriend a local and maybe if you buy them a few drinks at the Den they might be gracious enough to bring you along.
