Pathway Through Life

Play your heart tonight
to the sound of pain, OH it may fright
still play your game with me
until the sound of peaceful life

Between the clubs and the factories
we lie on an empty block,

thoughts playing your sweet heart tonight
and when your mind leaves your brain

you won't believe the reality in sight

Dream, dream with me and you'll escape
though the devils angels sing their song
run away, run away and try to live another day

for gods demons come blundering your way

Find the courage that you lost so long ago
time won't paint the path you know
it's for those lonely eyes you see
it takes you left or it takes you right

whichever road, your legs might like

Hit you from the back and you'll be there when they've gone
shoot us in the back, but we'll be here when they've gone
Just follow my lead

When you look into the sky with might
Just know that the sun broke through this night

And when the stars do show their light

Jump up and out into your life

Where Once My Shadow Laid

Shoot the breeze then turn it to your head
Let that bullet smile down on you
You never let yourself be wrong
Ignorance, it is such a bliss

Take my hand
Cause I want to be close when I see your make-up run
See your make-up run down your face
Your heartbeat is
The only thing that's keeping me down
I'm tied to the floor

As this rope around my neck pulls tighter
Like your hand around my wrist
Slowly everything turns brighter
The sun comes up around you
Then you hit the ground where once my shadow laid
Look and see my rope has frayed

I tell you that you're worthless when your face is to the floor
Break your words upon my head
Voiced shrapnel plunges into your chest
Blasting you through the deck

I Look and see your rope has frayed
It Lets me know I could be gone forever

Dreaming of Freedom

The fire is burning
We lay our weapons to rest
These wars aren't over yet
Until all the people are set free

Coming from our souls we cry
This fight has stolen too many lives
Because for the sake of freedom
We all will sacrifice to die

Oh men we try and try
To keep our dreams well and alive
For our voices will be heard
All around the world

Let us stand up and cry
And keep this dream alive
If we do not act now against this force
We may never end this war

Our men are imprisoned

Though they have committed no crimes
Some call it honor
But now I'm ashamed to face my fellow man

The children are ripped away
The families destroyed
We fear the thousands of lives from us
Though from them it is countless more

No, we can't go on this way
We will never give up
Fighting for this freedom
Yes, we will keep this dream alive
