well, my time at my current job is down to 9 days left, and I should be hitting the road in 13 days. Finally making my move west, I just wish my friends that had done so previously and encouraged me to do so were still here to see it (RIP Matt and Kris). I can't help but wonder if I'm just being dumb giving up high-tech to go back to school for ski-industries, but I have to try. I just wish my truck didn't die, I didn't need more debt before making my move, but oh well, just another hurdle to eventally clear. I should be at my new apartment in Steamboat in just over 2 weeks, and I still haven't even begun packing - oh well, it'll get done.

	Excellent choice, I wish I had one for sure. So I was confused, you weren't able to get one with the lens? That's too bad because I hear the kit lens is actually quite nice (not so much with the Canon). And yes a faster CF card will definately help with the burst rates (and how many you can take too), the D70 seems to be quite capable (not like a D2H or 1D, but fast enough for casual shooting). I'm definately jealous, put up some pics once you test it out!

	there are some more slopes on the other side, the vertical are quite good.... on the other side there also is a chair lift, this is not the biggest place, but some friends has a cabin there, and we usually go there for our winter vacation.... but it is great there! Trysil and Geilo are also good... but there is three times the distance from were i live... Hanne
