Well i have 11 days of skiing and going for six more in Fernie hopefully. Got an avy shovel for christmas to build nice big kickers and whatever with. Might help with our cat track gap in fernie.

	Something to keep in mind, check with them about if you have to buy your uniform or if they are free, find out the perks (does your job mean you can ski for free), find out if there are any training fees, and what type of time requirements they have. Good luck, although the moneys not great, its a really fun job, and a great way to make a ton of contacts.

	hey if your thinking about getting into teaching skiing, you don't really make much money at all. A first year instructor will often make only about $6-8 an hour, and only for the hours you teach. And I hope you like little kids, since that is who the majority of first years teach (but its a lot of fun don't get me wrong). The benefits are worth it though. And don't get level I until you have at least a year teaching under your belt. Make sure you like it before you make the investment into certification. Most areas will hire new instructors that are not certified, so if you want to teach, start looking around now, let the area(s) your thinking about know your interested and find out if they have any recruitment nights/days or how they go about hiring people.

	you live in calgary and you ski at fernie? anyway, yea, what i'd recommend doing is joining a freestyle club near you. there's a lot in alberta. a bcfsa club that is... i know jasper has at least two (freestyle and freeride) and alberta has a big air team and a mogul team. the age categories are youth, juvenile, junior and senior. youth is under 13, juvenile is 14-16, junior is 17 -something that i don't remember. and senior is old. a freestyle team is the best way to improve if you work hard, the coaching is wicked. you get good so fast if you work hard. especially big air and halfpipe and stuff, moguls takes more time. my buddy just moved out here from calgary and he used to skiw ith a team in alberta. um... you may be able to find a link at freestyleski.com. my buddy just told me that southern alberta team skis out of sunshine, i'd look into that for sure.
