My Journal: Monday, July 18, 2005
well, my time at my current job is down to 9 days left, and I should be hitting the road in 13 days. Finally making my move west, I just wish my friends that had done so previously and encouraged me to do so were still here to see it (RIP Matt and Kris). I can't help but wonder if I'm just being dumb giving up high-tech to go back to school for ski-industries, but I have to try. I just wish my truck didn't die, I didn't need more debt before making my move, but oh well, just another hurdle to eventally clear. I should be at my new apartment in Steamboat in just over 2 weeks, and I still haven't even begun packing - oh well, it'll get done.

im from western mass... i.e. the berskhires. I heard that tucks was having a bad year too, but im still going up, and im trying to rent a cabin up there for a weekend. Ive got a bunch of friends who are thinking about going up with me, but theres still an open invitation, i want to build a booter one day and just session the sh*t out of it.

Hey, im moving back to massachusetts in april, and am planning a couple trips to vt and one weekend trip to do tuckermans, i dont know if you want to join me, but i was thinking of trying to get a bunch of east coasters from here to make a freeskiing.com weekend at tuck's... build a couple booters, rent a cabin and party and chill... let me know what you think.

Hey Chris, How are you? Happy belated birthday! How's the EC? Got snow yet? Whistler opens this weekend but I won't be skiing til Christmas. I also won't be skiing on new skis OR taking pics with a new cam since my car is still f*cked and I haven't dealt with it yet. plus I'm saving up for a couple of big trips this year. What are your plans for the season?

Hey Chris - just checking out those D70 pics. Have you done any sequence shots with it? That's one of the things I'm looking forward to being able to do. So far that is the cam I'm leaning towards. Now that I've started talking about it, more and more people say that is the one they have and are really happy with it. We'll see though, since I haven't finished dealing with my f*cking car issue yet. I could be a little short on funds. Hopefully it will all work out. I do still have to get skis too. Good thing I'm going back to work. I love holidays, but I need a pay cheque BAD!
