i swear by rossi. scratch bc is a good allround ski from huckn big air in the park to dropn clifs to just rippn it up. scratch fs if ur a park junkie. they last and can take a shit kikn 2. the new THC core kicks ass as much as the thc in bud! i still prefer ol fashioned wood core tho. pop stays in. any more info needed just let the mt.wash ski and board tek know. i'll try to help ya out.

These are what i had in mind, that i found online cheap:
1. K2 Fujative in 169cm
2. K2 Public Enemy 169/174 cm
3. Salomon 1080 Flyer 171 cm
4. Armada El Rey 171 cm
5. Line Invader

For bindings i was thinking maybe some Look PX 12. I'm really digging those. any other recommendations. i stopped skiing 5 years ago, and had about 4 years under my belt.

r they new? i dont think so. a few sound real old 2 me. who knows. look makes good shit. if  u like big air time in pow go with the fattest skis possible. elan, and scott make some good onez. scotts P4z, forgot elans tho; they have a dove tail on each ski tho. im a ski and board tek and i reccomend dont get a foam core if u want ur shit to last more than half a season. or, if u dont want ur binding ripped out of their decks. or if u dont want ur skis to break.

too many variables. armadas are nice k2 makes some pretty good stuff. too noodly 4 me tho. guys i ski with snap em like toothpicks and ride em back with no tail to send back and get new ones. it all depends on ur skiing style and wut u ski mostly. its a personal preference thing really. anything but solomon i say. but hey thts just my opinion i got from working at one tek shop.

As for powder riding, the more surface area the better. I still prefer my board in powder, but then again, I used to become entertainment for others many times while attempting it on my skis. My old skis were Elan 2.0 something or other... they had the shape, but were not the latest technology wise. My new(er) Atomic women's Balanze 3.1 are amazing in comparison. . I've attempted some powder using them with satisfiable result. My attitude was that I'll only learn to ski powder if I go out and do it. I still actually prefer moguls, etc. on the board... then again, I did start out as a boarder but also enjoy skiing almost as much now. For an avid skier, power+fat skis (lots of surface area) are best.  I think I'm rambling, as I already forget that this thread was about   Have a great day everyone!
If hell freezes over.... whoever wants to ride there may...
I choose to ride in heaven where it'll always be a powder day
