honestly those of you who have seen both sights gime ur opinion on a scale of 1-10 say 10 being the best.

I Would agree with your ranking... but freeskiing had alot more people... more active... If this site had more people.. then it would be a 9... but not right now

I too hope to see more people here. Honestly, I'm a diehard snowboarder (who is PSIA L1 skier certed) so yeah, I enjoy two planks as well. I dedicate more of my time to snowboard and wakeboard forums.  Would love to see this place with more people and grow a community.

As for NSchooler's - my impression of them is they are very immature group of teenagers without a clue.

^ No your dumb. Youve clearly never spent anytime on the forums on that website and if you have you were probably called out for your clear lack of knowledge for the sport and in result have a negative feeling for the site.

Newschoolers is a massive cross section of the sport of skiing.   There's kids who are stupid yes, but also good ones too.

Around the time when I posted the above in November, I had finished up deleting  several HUNDRED posts an idiot had posted several hundred threads to the effect of "this sites sux, newschoolers is better" and so forth. Cleaned up the mess, and that same person would make another account and start it all over again. I am quite aware any and every community, group, etc., have those that give the rest a bad name, as was the case here.  Left me rather jaded.

So, I am open to being proven wrong and finding that the NS online community is friendly and not representative of the past actions of a bad egg or two we had to deal with on this side of the fence.
