When should a junior upgrade to adult skis?  Is it height, weight, skill, boot size, etc???  My child is on the threshold, but still growing...

Thanks

Id say the most important thing to take into consideration is height and weight. Skill really does not matter at all since a person that is 6 feet tall and 200 pounds but happens to suck isnt gonna get a junior ski because they suck. id say when a kid hits their teen years is a good time to start thinking about getting adult skis. It  pretty much all depends on the height and weight though. There should be no real pressure to get adult skis since most junior twins are just smaller versions of the adults. Oh yea and boot size has absoloutly nothing to do with it.
