And judging by the public's opinion of the current conservative party, a more liberal nominee will win the upcoming election. how do you think this liberal party will handle iran? will they "handle" the problem at all? The liberal party will do NOTHING. At most they (clinton-esk) will bomb them from afar. I predict Israel will take out their nuclear facilities via air in the next three months. Israel is the only country in the world that understands "the sword" more than America.

You blow things way out of proportion and distort the words of others. No one should have nukes, period! Not Iran, not Iraq, not China or Russia, not Canada or the USA. Nobody should possess them. What I mean is that the US has thousands of nukes and still stands as the only nation to use them against another. And Liberalism isn't a mental disorder, its a system of beliefs and ideals that nations like America were founded on. Seems like you'd like to do away with liberalism...doesn't sound very American to me, sounds more like the point of view of a fascist.

I believe what you are ATTEMPTING to allude to is the concept of "classical liberalism". while this is an important part of american political history, with ideology that was championed by the likes of John Locke, and Thomas Jefferson, its relationship to americas founding is cursory at best. in actuallity the liberalism you are reffering to is much more closely related to modern conservatism. Modern liberalism (the ethos you hold so dear) is the bastard offspring of postmodern "thought" championed in the 60's by the french philosopher Rousseau, and has little IF ANYTHING to do with classsical liberalism. actually it has NOTHING to do with classical liberalism, and relevant political thought. but you already knew that right? yeah right.

I appreciate the fact that I dont have to deal with dipshts like you and vailposseone where I live. I have yet to meet an american anything like either of you, whether they be visiting our ski hills here or I be making a trip to Seattle or visiting family in Portland. As far as your assumption that I hate all that is american, you couldnt be more far off, I spend lots of time in the US every year, and have tons of family from all around the US. Maybe its because I spend my time on the 'liberal' west coast.
