Haven't bought any of their stuff before, all looks well..but how are their jackets? How warm are they? Comfy? Breathable? How do they hold up? What's the quality of their gear in general? I'm mainly looking at the Raven.

the siver stuff is pretty good. the style is awesome, but they are pretty much a low end jacket. they are made by orage, so you know that they are made well, and will stand up to some abuse. they are super warm, if you get an insulated piece. unfortunately, they are not waterproof or breathable enough for my likes. but i love their other gear, they make solid hoodies, and my favourite pair of jeans are siver.

yep, made by orage. if you ever take a close look at a orage jackets and siver jacket, a lot of hte features are identicle, and material types and workmanship are the same.

i really do love siver cartel, and no they are not made by orage, ok soo they do hve some of the same features but alot of companies do. if u do read up on siver u willl hear that they are a skier owned company. it would say prodcut of orage if it was also. well besides that siver jackets are insane and they really can take a beating. i have broken like 2 inch branches on my arm glade skiing and not one little tear. id say they use simmilar myterials that kevlar is made of. lol. but yea there jackets are insane!!

i'm telling you all, they ARE made by orage. They are carried by the same distributer throughout the world (coalision) and use identical materials, and features. If you even look at mick nick's email address on the website, it is mikenick@coalision.com. just because they are a skier owned and designed company doesn't mean that mike nick sitting hanging out in vermont sewing all of those jackets together himself. a lot of companies will contract out to other companies to make their gear. it doesn't mean that orage owns the company. fox eyewear is made by oakley, but it doesn't say anywhere that they are a product of oakley. siver has it's own idea of what they want their gear to look like, and style, they give that to orage, and orage sews it up, and sticks the siver logo on it. find an orage jacket and a siver jacket of similar price and compare them. you will find almost identical materials and features used. I love both companies and wear a combination of their gear. [Edited on 2/13/2006]
