how annoying is it to carry the camera around with you while you ski, do you keep it in the pack and just take it out occasionally? or do you do all your shooting then go dump it back off in the car? looking to get into shooting on the slopes....

I generally practise on what I'm going to hit (if its in the park) for a few hours in the morning so I don't just waste the film. then I grab my friends and my camera, session the feature for an hour or so that way everyone has a shot at landing their trick/s then take it back to my car. sometimes I just lap the run with friends and do mostly follow cams but follow camming can turn out real bad if your not good at it.

I use a Canon XL1 for all my on/off hill shooting. Its big to cart around while skiing, but I have the Dakine Sequence so once your used to it your laughing
