hey i am looking at getting a new pair of all mountain skis. i am in Australia so not much deep pow hear but go overseas surching for some o that so looking for a ski which is fine on the groomers but sik everywear else. i heard the K2 apache recon was good what do poeople think of that or any other suggessgions

it depends on your status of skills..... are you a beginner, a intermediate or a semi-pro???? ... how woul you rate yourself????

yer i am pretty good. can ski the whole mountain and have some experienc in powder mainly in japan and fine going hard off piste so i am quite an advanced skier

twin tip or not twin tip.....? that is the question.  the dumont pro model is out of control....X-wing tornado is alot gorgeous... volkl redid their line for next year and the tigershark skis beautifully but you've gotta be ooooober agressive to get everything out of it.... what it all comes down to is you.. your skis what do YOU like, demo everything you can before buying, best of luck

the dumonts are pretty nice too theyd be a good if you do park, i think theyre also 1 of te only salomon's without a foam core, they use a wood core.  the X-Wing series mainly uses the foam core, but they have 1: the XW Tornado+Z12 ti, it uses a isocell wood care so it isnt all foam that ski looks good

if you need something that is all mountain and with a twin tip get the K2 PE. you will not be disappointed.
