Mt Hotham, Preisher Blue etc offers some good early season conditions with fresh powder !!!
hy all, the winter is back in europe, in the austrain alps we have powder snow, new snow!! at the Stubai glacier 20 cm !!! the forecast say that the followoing days more powder is possible

its the 1st may 2005, national holiday in hungary !
here is really warm, like in summer, everthing is green, no snow, no ice, no cold, just the warm sun rays :)) and blue sky;)

maybe we make in june or july a skitrip at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, or Mölltal Glacier

hy all, it's middle April... still summertime.
Many of austrian resorts closed for this season, due the lack of people, or some resort due the lack of snow.
Best snow near Viennea, the capital c. of Aut: Hochkar: 80 cm, open until 1st May
Salzburg area:
Obertauern: about 250 cm at the bottom, open until 8. May
Zauchensee: open until 24th April
Tirol:
Obergurgl: open until 24th April
St Anton: last day: 24th April
Ischgl: last day of this season: 1st May

it's still season end in Europe. This season was really snowy !! we had a lot of powder during this winter.
Some resort in Austria had above 5 metres snow !!!

hy ! we had the warmest september and october.. I cannot remembert that since I'am at the planet, so warm autumn was...
on the austrian glacier the conditions are not so well, example: last sunday was heavy snowfall and fog at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, but on monday changed the snowfall into rain:(
if the there enough snow, than Hockar start the season at 20th. Nov
