For those of you who haven't noticed, SKINS ARE HERE! We've giving away a FREE CORE MEMBERSHIP for the best custom skin.  The contest has been extended to Friday April 28th.  For those of you who have already entered, we're giving away ANOTHER core membership tomorrow on Friday the 14th.

Time to get creative and SHOW SOME SKIN!  Colonies.com has launched a new skinning system so you can completely customize the look of the site.

Not only can you make your profile super-steezy, you can also win a year core membership while you're doing it.  

To enter, make a cool skin and post a comment on this blog entry.  We'll judge the best skins and pick one on Friday April 14th.

To create a skin, go to the MANAGE section (link is available in the notification bar at the top of the page), then click on the "CHANGE SKIN" link, then click on the "CREATE CUSTOM SKIN" button.

Three new site skins have been added, all of an "argyle" theme, my personal favorite is the Pink/Brown Argyle combo, it's pretty sweet. Green/Brown and a mellower one have also been added.

To check them out, go to your "manage" section, click on "Change Skin" and choose one of the new skins from the list.

Well it's going to be a busy week, we're working on all the sweet features for the core members, I'm going to try and get some more skins done by the weekend. I also have a stats midterm on friday, and some papers due next monday, ah, but it's fun being busy sometimes.
