The level of skill being displayed in all of the Whistler Blackcomb Parks is astonishing these days. The progression we are seeing in athletes is at light speed and tricks formerly reserved for the rare mutants are now being thrown with ease by local kids skipping school to ski and ride. (Don’t skip school!) This week I witnessed 16-year-olds throwing double back flips, 19-year-olds spinning corked 10s and a 4-year-old slide a four foot round bar. This progression has pushed the Park crew to step up and create the best possible playground for these athletes and then work backwards to ensure we have a smooth progression. The bar is being set high for the next generation and we are doing our best to evolve at the same rate.

The Parks all got new set-ups this week, some even seeing changes daily. On Whistler Mountain we changed up the top section to include a new barrel bonk in addition to the stump jibs as well as freshening up Bobcat with a never-been-tired-before combo box with a quad kink. There are also new jump styles on Chipmunk and two “Skate Style” spines with log and metal coping for every transfer trick imaginable.

The Choker Park saw the addition of the Quicksilver and Nintendo boxes set up in series as mellow up-boxes as well as the addition of a mini shack booter style step over jump. The Superpipe rebuild has resulted in the best pipe I have ridden in a long time and special props go out to Andy Morrison for his epic 17 hour shift grooming the pipe se we can all rip it this week!

The Terrain Garden continues to be one of the busiest parks with hordes of newbie riders getting their legs on the small jumps, mini spine, boxes and rails offered up in this line. We are hoping to add a few more basic flat boxes to the mix so trick development can progress here too.

The HL Park has basically been split into Lucas Land’s rail line for metal grinders and the main park for jumpers. The left line continues to be the BIG XL line while the right side offers up the L / XL multi-takeoff options.

If you have not been up in the parks yet this year, you are missing out! Don’t wait to see it in next year’s vids, come on up today.

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!

I still have one week left of my winter break. This is great; not only do I get to relax and hang with my chums, but I get to recollect all my thoughts and stock up on lined paper for my work. Hopefully it will not be tooooo hectic when I get beack because we are going to start reviewing for our exams! YIKES! Every time I have to take exams I freak out about it and go beserk. Hopefully I can cram successfully this time....This is turning out to be a totally rad break; for my birthday mum got me Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail. It is absolutely hilarious! I have not laughed so much at a video in a lllooooonnnng time. My favorite scene is the one with the knights of Ni in it....HEAD KNIGHT OF NI:
Ni!
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!
ARTHUR:
Who are you?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We are the Knights Who Say... 'Ni'!
RANDOM:
Ni!
ARTHUR:
No! Not the Knights Who Say 'Ni'!
HEAD KNIGHT:
The same!
BEDEVERE:
Who are they?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We are the keepers of the sacred words: 'Ni', 'Peng', and 'Neee-wom'!
RANDOM:
Neee-wom!
ARTHUR:
Those who hear them seldom live to tell the tale.
HEAD KNIGHT:
The Knights Who Say 'Ni' demand a sacrifice.
ARTHUR:
Knights of Ni, we are but simple travellers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods.
HEAD KNIGHT:
Ni!
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!...
ARTHUR:
Ow! Ow! Ow! Agh!
HEAD KNIGHT:
We shall say 'ni' again to you if you do not appease us.
ARTHUR:
Well, what is it you want?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We want... a shrubbery!
[dramatic chord]
ARTHUR:
A what?
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!
ARTHUR and PARTY:
Ow! Oh!
ARTHUR:
Please! Please! No more! We will find you a shrubbery.
HEAD KNIGHT:
You must return here with a shrubbery, or else, you will never pass through this wood... alive.
ARTHUR:
O Knights of Ni, you are just and fair, and we will return with a shrubbery.
HEAD KNIGHT:
One that looks nice.
ARTHUR:
Of course.
HEAD KNIGHT:
And not too expensive.
ARTHUR:
Yes.
HEAD KNIGHT:
Now... go!

so hilarious!
I laugh ever harder each time I watch it. I wonder what happened to the Knights of Ni in the end. When the police inspect the shrubbery it looks as though it was first trampled and then left derelict. Maybe the Knights were arrested. I hope not; they are the funniest characters in the whole movie, apart from Tim the Enchanter and the killer bunny which likes to sever off people's limbs with it's vicious long pointy teeth. I went to a dance last week but it was horrible; nobody wanted to dance and the music sucked! The least they could have done was play some rock but all they played was hip-hop and rap, neither of which I can stand in the least (except Eminem). I have no idea why no-one wanted to dance with me, apart from the fact I was wearing my yarmulkeh....I don't see why that should be such a major turn-off for people, except if they find Jewish people to be 'offensive' in some manner or form. There were a lot of people there I didn't know, which was kind of annoying yet fun because I got to act like a total douche and no-one will ever know! It was great! That part was great but the dance overall sucked badly....if that youth group ever puts on another dance I will not go because it was soooo bad. Not only was the music bad but the dj was terrible and kept making the music all weird sounding. Hopefully there will be a heavy metal dance/concert sometime soon that I can go to!

INTEGRATED PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY – UNIT 1
STRUCTURE OF MATTER (PART 1)

PROPERTIES OF MATTER (1)

The Greek philosophers of the third and fourth centuries B.C. were great thinkers. Long before the advent of modern devices like calculators and microscopes, these philosophers were asking the same questions that today's chemists and physicists study. For instance, these early scientists wondered: If you divide a cup of water in half, then divide it in half again, and continue dividing it in half, do you ever run out of water and end up with something else? The thinkers of ancient Greece tried to reason things out without performing experiments, leading individuals to multiple answers to common questions. As a result, several theories about the nature of matter abounded during the ancient times.

The man who came closest to our modern view of matter was Democritus, who lived about 460 B.C. He believed that all matter was composed of a large number of small objects which he called atoms (from a Greek word meaning indivisible). Democritus believed these objects were in constant motion, and that they combined with each other in different shapes and sizes.

Another Greek philosopher, Aristotle, believed that all matter was composed of one or a combination of four things: earth, fire, air, and water. He disagreed with almost all of the ideas of Democritus.

The ideas put forth by Aristotle were so influential that theories of matter changed very little until 1808 when the scientist John Dalton developed new theories. Dalton performed experiments to help answer his questions, eventually developing the atomic theory. This theory states that all matter consists of extremely small particles--Democritus's atoms. Dalton determined that all atoms of any one element are similar to one another but are different from atoms of all other elements. Dalton also believed that atoms were indivisible, a hypothesis which has since been proven false.

Today, with the aid of the electron microscope and other modern technology, groups of atoms, called molecules, can be "seen." Models of particles even smaller than atoms have been developed. As you can see, throughout the centuries scientists have attempted to unravel the inner secrets of matter.

In this unit you will study some of the things scientists have discovered about matter and thus gain an ever greater appreciation for this magnificent universe.

Scientists study the world around us to learn how materials are alike and different. Some of the ways that kinds of matter differ are easy to see and some are not. Every kind of material has at least one property that makes it different from any other material. Why can glass be used for cookware but plastic usually cannot? Why do different objects of equal weight occupy different amounts of space? How can an object be changed from one kind of matter to another? What property explains rust on a piece of metal? These questions and others are answered by studying the properties of matter in the following lessons.

GENERAL PROPERTIES OF MATTER

How is all matter alike? Let us examine the two basic properties that all matter shares.

Volume. The first general property of matter is that it takes up space. No two units of matter can take up the same space at the same time. One unit must move. If you have ever dropped something into a full pail of water, you might have noticed that some of the water flowed over the edge of the pail. Whatever was dropped into the pail took up some of the space that had been filled by the water. As a result, some of the water was displaced from (pushed out of) the pail. Air can also push water out of one place and into another. The amount of space that matter takes up is called the volume of that matter. Thus, a giant boulder has more volume than a small rock. However, any unit of matter, large or small, solid, liquid, or gas, takes up some space and therefore has volume.

You can determine the volume of an object in two ways:

  1. For an object of uniform shape having linear sides or a common geometric shape (for example, a block of wood, a brick, or a cylinder): Measure the object and determine the volume mathematically.
  2. For an irregularly shaped object which cannot be measured easily or does not consist of uniform geometric shapes (for example, a horseshoe or a blob of silly putty): Determine the volume of water which it displaces. The volume of water displaced equals the volume of the object, as long as the object does not dissolve in or absorb water.

When measuring a volume of water in a graduated cylinder or similar container, be sure you are reading at the lowest point of the curved surface of the water, the meniscus. Study Figure 1 to find the correct level.

Mass. If you were to lift a small stick and a large rock, you could tell quickly which one was heavier. This experiment would tell you about another general property of matter. All matter on earth has weight. When you weigh something, you are measuring the pull of the earth's gravity on that object. Why do some things weigh more than others? The reason is that some things have more matter in them than others. The amount of matter in an object is called the mass of that object. Mass is measured in grams. The more mass an object has, the greater the force of gravity will be on it. As a result the object will weigh more. Keep in mind that the terms mass and weight are defined differently.

Remember that weight changes slightly with altitude or position on the earth. Weight on the moon is substantially different than weight on earth. The mass of an object, however, is constant--it doesn't change. Because the weight of an object is not constant, merely weighing an object will not allow you to determine its mass. The mass of an object is determined by placing it on a balance and comparing it with a known standard mass. The standard of mass is the kilogram (kg).

SPECIAL PROPERTIES OF MATTER

We know that all matter must possess mass and take up space. Yet, other properties can help us learn what makes each kind of substance different from the others.

Knowing the shape, odor, taste, color, density, buoyancy, freezing point, and boiling point of a material will tell us what the substance is like. These properties are called special properties. These special properties tell us a great deal about the ways a substance may react or be used. For example, you may have three beakers full of different liquids; one contains plain water, one contains grape soda, and one contains white vinegar. All three liquids have mass and take up space. How can we tell them apart? One way is to classify the three liquids according to their special properties. The soda can be distinguished from the other two by its color and taste. The water and the vinegar look the same but can be distinguished from each other by odor, taste, and boiling point.

We can also find out many of the special properties of a substance by looking at a table or chart that has this kind of information.

Knowing differences between one type of matter and another helps us classify things. Since all matter has mass and takes up space, the special properties are important for us to know.

Density. Density is an important special property of matter that needs further explanation. Density is the mass of a substance per unit of volume. In the metric system, volume is measured in liters, milliliters, or in the case of the figure to the right, cubic centimeters (cm3). It may be expressed in grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm3). For example, water has a density of 1 gram per cubic centimeter. If we compare a thousand grams of iron with a thousand grams of water, their masses are equal; but the container holding the water would be much larger than the one containing the piece of iron because the iron has a greater density.

Another way of looking at density is to compare cotton and lead. If you take two equal sized boxes and fill one with cotton and one with lead, you will see that the cotton and lead both occupy equal volumes. What do you think would happen when you try to lift the boxes? Which one would be heavier? Because the lead has more mass per box than the cotton does, you could conclude that the lead has greater density. Simply put, a given volume of lead contains more mass than does the same volume of cotton. To find the density of a substance, you must first know its mass and volume. Figure 2 lists densities of some common substances.

Note: This and other answers may be printed as 2g/cm3. This format is used by some computers, printers, and calculators solely to keep the text on the same line.

Buoyancy. Why do some things float? You already know that heavy objects tend to sink, and light or hollow objects tend to float. Floating is related to density. Paper, cork, wood, and some plastics float on water. Each of these substances has a low density. A piece of steel will sink to the bottom. Yet, a merchant ship made of steel will float. Why?

When an object is placed into a liquid, it pushes that liquid aside. The object displaces the liquid. In other words, it moves the liquid to another place since both substances cannot occupy the same space at the same time. When you get into a filled bathtub, you probably notice that the water level rises. Your body is displacing or pushing aside a certain amount of water. If the mass of the amount of liquid displaced is equal to the mass that displaced it, the object will float. This law, or principle, is known as the Archimedes' Principle, named for Archimedes, the Greek philosopher who discovered it. When a block of wood is placed in water, it sinks until an amount of water exactly equal to the mass of the block is displaced. The water underneath the wood exerts a push or force to hold it up. This upward force is called buoyancy.

Freezing and boiling points. Temperatures of the boiling and freezing points of substances are special properties of matter. Different materials have different freezing and boiling points.

The freezing point is the temperature at which a liquid changes to a solid. The boiling point is the temperature at which a liquid changes to a gas. Because each substance has a unique freezing and boiling point, many unknown liquids are able to be identified by measuring their freezing and boiling points.

Measurements of freezing and boiling points are made using the Celsius temperature scale (Figure 3). Celsius temperature has been accepted around the world and has everyday use in many countries. The freezing point of water on the Celsius scale is 0°C. The boiling point is 100°C. The thermometer has one hundred degrees of temperature between the freezing and boiling points. The term centigrade is also used in referring to the Celsius scale. The Fahrenheit temperature scale is commonly used in many homes, but does not have the world-wide use that the Celsius has. The Fahrenheit scale is different in that water freezes at 32° and boils at 212°.

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF MATTER

To understand fully the properties and nature of matter, we must look beyond the physical characteristics of matter. Some properties of matter depend upon the reactions of a substance with other substances. These properties are called chemical properties of a substance. Chemical reactions depend on how different substances combine with each other. If an element will not combine with any other substance it is said to be inert.

Simple Observations of Physical and Chemical Changes (Click on the image above.)

The souring of milk, the burning of a log, and the rusting of iron all involve reactions of substances resulting in changes in their chemical compositions. In rusting or burning a chemical process occurs when a substance combines with the oxygen in the air and a change takes place. These chemical processes are examples of oxidation, the result of combining a particular substance with oxygen. Rapid oxidation causes burning while instant oxidation causes an explosion.

The Solo Mobile Concert Series will be kicking off on Friday, September 1 with a performance by Bedouin Soundclash.

The trio from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario set the Canadian music scene on fire last year with their hit single “When the Night Feels My Song” which rose all the way to Number One on MuchMusic and was the second most played song on Canadian radio in 2005. De La Soul will headline the concert series the next night.

Also new for 2006, is a national and international television broadcast of the Coors Light Trauma Tour in Sylvan Lake. The event will be featured on the Xtreme Channel and Fusion TV as well as OLN in the United States.

Canadian pro wakeboarders Chad Sharpe and Rusty Malinoski will take on the best riders in the world including Andrew Adkison of the U.S., the Pro Wakeboard Tour’s number one ranked rider. The 10 pros will battle it out on the water in three wakeboarding disciplines – “Double Up”, “Rail Rumble” and “Full Pull” – with each discipline worth $10,000. An additional prize of $10,000 will also be awarded to the best rider overall.

As if the action on the water and the stage isn’t enough, fans can also look forward to the high-flying stunts of the Metal Mulisha Freestyle Motocross show and the battle of the beauties for the title of Miss Trauma Tour.

My Blog: About Me.
By: Tutt

I'm Alexander. Hmm. I've really got nothing right now. I'm into indie music. Everything I used to do I don't do anymore (think racing and wakeboarding). Life changes fast I guess. I know this now. Just moved back in with my mother. It's okay I guess. Also pretty single as of late or something like that. I'm really not this boaring. Just drawing blanks is all. Well anyways, I really do like to talk to everyone, and I'm not just saying it. Really, just try. But yea. Oh, I used to ahve a great job, not anymore. Like I said, things change. I really do love cars and bikes. It's a passion. I build them and it's more of an art for me. I find I can express my creativity with them. Like a metal canvas. Designing custom cars and bikes is what I want to do with my life. I guess I've really slowed down in life. Not as far as success but as far as the tempo. I have learned that if I do slow down and take it all in that it is so much more enjoyable. When I get high is when I usually have my best experiances for some reason. So, I get high a lot. Sorry if that deters you from me. Really, sorry. That's not all of who I am just something I really enjoy doing. I love people; I think everyone has something special to offer. Good or bad. Right now I'm listening to Goodbye Sky Harbor by Jimmy Eat World over and over again and it amazes me every time. I am a really fun and relaxed person. People say I'm soft spoken these days. Just a sign of how much I have chilled out because I used to be some sort of animal. Been through some things in my life, great and horrible, all have made me who I am today. I love who I am, but anymore I can't find the kind of people I want to surround myself with. Well I have a few friends that I would die for. I'm not as close with my older brother as I would like to be and my little brother may be the coolest person in the world. Maybe. Right now I am rambling about some random shi*t, but oh well. At least you are getting to hear something about me. I like to dance. Lots of ways. Just to express. Usually how drunk I am. Oh well. Fun all the same. I guess I am easily satisfied. Want to know how? Ask. I guess I'll tell you. Why not. Life is crazy. Really. I never know what is going to happen when I wake up. I guess that's why sometimes I lie in bed forever and never get up. Well not for a while. I find it hard to motivate myself when I take a look at the world that I live in. That we all live in. Too many people that are way too selfish. That's what it comes down to. Snowboarding is one of those things that allows my extemely competative personality shine. I really haven't done it as much as I should have. Slacker. I'm decent though. It also brings me to this amazing peace that few things can bring me to. Hmm. I am discovering that many people don't know how to tell the truth. Mostly to themselves. And me. It really is a shame. They could be so much more. I am by no means saying I am better. I am most definately not. Just differant. I like it like that. People call me Alex but I wished they called me Alexander. That is my real name. Unique I suppose because everyone seems to be just Alex. I love my real name. My mom gave it to me. That means a lot. Alexander. It just sounds better. A closer representation to who I am. What else? Oh. I love having adventures with those that mean everything to me. Think driving around with $2 in your pocket and a sack of green. If you let your imagination out, it will bring you to far places. I promise. I refuse to let myself fall for females. Too many heartbreaks. I am not bitter. Just learned my lesson. Speaking of girls. I once met an ex girlfriend on here. Odd as that may seem. It was good though. I like to get in my car and drive. Anywhere. Nowhere. I live ina place that so many people hate but I love with everything there is to me. It is home. Beautiful sunsets in the summer. Don't belive me? Try it. I grew up in a big old house that I love. My mom wants to move out west and sell this house. I wish I could buy it and keep it forever. So many memories. Plus, it's badass if you asked me. I come from a very odd family. Odd in the sense of not the reular run-of-the-mill type. Curious? Ask. I'll tell. I am a good driver. In many aspects. Never been in an accident and I also have a few insights of a few differant types of racing. Well, a lot of that insight. Its not easy but it puts my mind in a place that few people can know. It's like a numb extacy. If that makes any sense. Kinda like the worst tunnel vision you may have ever had, you really cannot feel anything except the car and the road/track, and at the same time an overwhelming feeling of pure love is all I feel. There are a couple things in life like that. Open your mind and you may find them. No. You will find them. It takes time. I am always looking for something new to open my heart and mind. It's fun. What life is all about. I'm usually big on grammar for some reason, not reflected by the continuous fragmented sentances on here. And my bad spelling. An odd fact though. I'm not really the schoolish kind of person. I love learning. I just think the schools are seriously flawed. I have been told by so many that I am extremely smart. I think so. Problem is, few things motivate me to use it. And most of those things people tell me I can never do. f*ck them. Right? Let me do my thing. I probably should apply myself more, though. Maybe I will. Who knows. Not me. Nothing is sure. So true. Well I have rambled a lot here. If you have made it this far then I am almost sure you are somewhat interested in me. If thats the case, comment me. Send me a message. I like those kinds of things. I'll get back to you. Who knows, I may just be your next best friends, the person you marry, or the person you murder. Never know until you find out.

him.jpg  So, to start, This is HIM
(As I'm sure all the girls know..) Finnish "love metal". Love, death and keyboards...
fear factory.gif
Now then, these guys are the daddies... FEAR FACTORY!!! Industrial metal, evolved from death metal, and a vocalist (Mr Bell) who has one of the greatest voices in real metal
Children of Bodom.jpgAs I'm sure you have guessed, I'm a big fan of children of bodom: The most perfect guitars ever. These guys pull melodies out of their asses and mix it with crushing black metal. cool stuff...
Lacuna Coil.jpgAh, Lacuna coil...How pretty is Christina? Sweeping guitars, Ethereal vocals and Andrea looks like a pirate...
avenged sevenfold.jpgA7X (or Avenged Sevenfold) have taken some stick recently (ask my elitist friends), apparently they have sold out. If you listen to sounding the seventh trumpet and City of evil you can clearly see the evolution, lets not forget that M.Shadows can't scream so much cos of his throat injury...be fair people...
The Smiths.jpgNow these guys are cool. Anyone like Pop? Emo? Indie? Well you should thank The Smiths cos' they changed the face of music. Johnny Marr is such an inventive guitarist putting so many layers in each song. Give em a go.
Charmed.jpg And finally (In this admittedly mammoth and pointless blog) Charmed. How could I not mention them? Surely the sexiest girls ever, and the fact that the show is so long running and still getting good ratings (despite turmoil in a changing Warner Bros...) speaks for itself.

              Downfall:

The night of timeless fire is drawing near
I flee... Throughout the years of throe
Watching through a mirror, as I fall apart
I see a wreck, I'm burning

Chorus
I see angels burning, falling down in ruins
Looking down I see me, I'm my own enemy

Watching myself decaying, falling from high spirits
I flee... Throughout the ruins of me
Longing for finding my way out
Leaving myself, there's nothing left for me
The ruins are about to crumble down.

The flame is dying by shivery winds of jet black skies
It reflects hatred in my eyes

Chorus
I see angels burning, falling down in ruins
Looking down I see my ashes scattered around my grave

Angels whispering fire, no longer I'm alive
Settled down I'm done with the trip to my kingdom come

random stuff: wax, homies
By: palidon11

Subject: how to wax ur frigging board...
ok so heres the deal. ima gonna post this so everyone will stop postin stuff about how to hot wax your board, i just wanna help out here.

so lets get started, what u need..

hot wax, i would suggest swix, get what suits your conditions, there is diff kinds of wax for different situations.

an iron, this u can get at goodwill for $3 or you can pay $70 for one. the $3 will work if u are just starting. make sure the one you have doesnt have a teflon coating on it, it will leave bits of black crap on your base.

a scraper, get one that is plastic. metal scrapers are for base repair. get one thet is rectangular thats about 4 inches by 2 inches. make sure it is somewhat rigid, it will help you scrape your base evenly. scraping evenly is a major key to good scraping.

a scouring pad, to help even out the wax after scraping.

a small, fine wire brush, im not sure what it does, lol

base cleaner...clean your board

How-to

CLEAN*** if u notice any dirt on your base, clean it, annd if u dont notice any dirt on it, clean it anyway.
i would buy some base cleaner. i have the dakine base cleaner and it works pretty nicely. i would have a rag for t cleaner, than have one thats damp with water, wipe with cleaner, then wipe with water. because sometimes the cleaner lifts it off the base, but once it dries its still on there, so wipe a small spot then wipe with water. you use less base cleaner that way too

first find a good position for your board, i usually prop mine against my bed. but you can buy a vise, but i find propping it on my bed works.

now set your iron to a relatively low temperature, you can set it higher, but i find that having it lower helps me distribute the wax more evenly. drip the wax on the board, i usually space the drips about 1.5 inches from each other. i like using more wax than i need because its easier to spread around.

now spread the wax...i turn my iron to as high as i can have it, but not too high that the wax starts to smoke. try to get every spot, dont let spots stay un-waxed. dont keep your iron for too long in one spot. i did that to my old board and i notices i burned the p-tex. i took it outside and when i put snow on it, the snow really stuck to that spot...so...dont burn your p-tex.

let it cool for about 20 minutes.

what i do before i scrape my base is i get the wax off the edges of my board, use the little grove on your scraper. im not sure how it would affect if u didnt, but im sure after a run it would come right off, but i scrape it anyway.

now, take your scraper, use it the wide way, and scrape from tip to tail. you can pull or push, it doesnt matter as long as you are going from tip to tail. when you scrape make sure u are using a decent amount of pressure, but not so much that you scrape some p-tex out of your base.

now, again, scrape with the narrow edge of your scraper, i find using the wide, then using the narrow edge really makes scraping eisier. take is much off as possible, you are taking excess wax off your board, so get as much off as you can. i hear horror stories of people taking hours to scrape their board, but if u you use enough pressure it shouldnt take more then 30 minutes the first time. it usually takes me 10 minutes to scrape. now, as i said, take as much off as possible. though it doesnt have to be perfect because when your ride next riding will take the excess off.*** you can scrape too much, so once very little wax is coming as your scrape stop

now, lightly go over your base with the wire brush, it needs to be a very fine brush though, otherwise it will scratch your board. try to make smooth straight strokes with it. this is optional, u dont have to do it, but i hear it helps you go faster. but not sure, it is completely optinal. if im wrong im sure someone will correct me.

now lightly go over your board with a scothbrite pad, it will smooth your wax job out. wipe from tip to tail...lightly.

this should be about it. im gonna save this in word....and whenever someone posts a waxing question im gonna reply to them with this. plus my buddy needs help waxing her board for the first time, she has never waxed it! she has sent it in, but she has only done that a couple of times. you should wax your board regularly, not doing so can damage your base, and it really affects the performance of your board. it really helps!
