Im writing you to tell you im sorry. Im sorry that we dont spend as much time together as we used to. I've taken advantage you. I only visit you on my time, and i no longer think of you as much as i used to. I think its best if u make up ur mind .. quit changing your mind ..i know your going through stuff && i really help u but i dont think u will let me thats alright i understand last night was a rough night...everything will be alright babe dont worry im here to talk if u want .. After saying goodbye to Corey at like 10pm i drove home... and crawled into bed... i was so incredibly tired... but for some odd reason i just couldnt fall asleep... so after hours of fiddling with my cell phone&& on my computer ... and past the time of ipod listening... and the painting my nails... watching t.v. i decided that i would lay down in my bed, close my eyes and hope for the best... at first it was a little overwelming, there were so meny thoughts racing through my head. Good ones, bad ones... i had decisions to make, things to do... but after laying there for about a half hour they started to fade away... I felt like God was telling me woah anna, you need to chill out and think... now the subject that last came into my head is wayyy to confusing to talk about.. but it involves two other people besides me, so some people know what im talking about, at first when i thought about it i was really bummed out, this topic is sooo not fun... i dont want to take the easy way out, i really dont, but if thats what needs to happen it probably will... sadly enough. but you know me, how my brain wonders, and i bounce from subject to subject like mad. I came to and idea. What if, once you born, god gave a name. A name of another person, that was already born, or yet to be born. That person got your name too, and that person was the one that you were supposed to spend the rest of you life with. You grew up knowing that person, god made you compatible, you loved the same things, shared the same intrests, and you knew that they were the one... there would be no cheating, no question, there wouldnt be another girl, or "chemistry" with someone else. There wouldnt be tha best friend gone bad that wants your guy. There would be no abuse, it would be PERFECT. but the world isnt like that. right now we're in a time of trial and error. Who knows the person your dating now could be your husband, or someone just to share memories with at highschool reunions, or you may never see them again. i wish things wernt complicated, but they are. Im willing to try, to try and make it through this rough time, are you?

News: Giant 120 Foot Long Bug

A giant bug has been sighted in a field in Germany using Google Maps Technology. It is unknown what the bug eats for breakfast or dinner, or where it is going. The massive insect is estimated at more than 120 Feet long. That's like the length of 12 basketball hoops stacked together or about 900 Ipod Nanos! The photo below shows that the bug could be heading to an internet workstation to invade Colonies.com and send you a friend request.

All I can do is laugh right now. So rediculous!
I've been giggling all day. Cept when my iPOD earphones broke. But thats not funny, so why would I laugh?
So ya, I dont know if this will last... I hope it does.
Everything in the last while is sooooooooooo funny, everything! all the things that people have said, promises, expectations, timelines... oh man, its all funny.
Im not gonna hate.. I mean right now it might make me smile, and laugh my ass off. Even though its so ironic. And double even though its so retarded... it was all important at the time. actually real important.
That doesnt mean I cant laugh at that, and shake my head. All I see is a smile... havnt seen that ini a while.
Meanwhile...
Next week ima go to Calaway park, ride the rollercoaster and see if its snowin yet.
SNow is super close. I can feel it. The distress is slowly fading, as the clouds are greying, soon there will be laughing chair rides, and snowflakes swaying... happy happy!

so here i am working the graveyard shift doing night audit, man soooo bored. if you are on msn please talk and keep me awake. I need to buy some curtins for my room, moved in today and the curtins have done. WTF? but hey at least my house has a padded room. weird arsed wall paper, did even know youcould get wall paper that looked like padding.i sure we will have many a drinking session in the loft and in a drunken muse state think thatit is SOFT and stand and almost put my head thru the roof. The roof is low and I'm 6 foot. sober i know I'll be fine but give me a few beers and all sense will leave and if my head doesn't go thru the roof then i'm sure i'll end up falling down the steep chair that lead there and. f*ck maybe drinking up therisn't the best idea in the world but yeah f*ck it. It'll be a good way to start a conversation with people 'hey, how did you get that scar on you head Taz?' "well funny you should ask, my room mates and I were drinking in thr loft and well yeah, i fell down the stairs going to fetch more beer........" do you see what problems i could be dealing with here folks? And why the FU CK can i find the friggen song want on my ipod? it's starting to real piss me off! why did I get a shuffle? i can't read thru plastic sh it!

My News: Free Concert Series During Whistler's Telus Festival

Whistler, BC - March 31, 2006 - What could be more exciting than finding out some of the most talented and popular performing bands in North America are set to play in Whistler from April 14-23? Probably the realization that watching your favourite acts live is completely FREE, as part of Canada's largest free outdoor concert series, during the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival. Daily concerts are scheduled from 2:30-5:30pm, including two nighttime concerts on Saturday April 15 and April 22 from 7:00-10:00pm, in Skier's Plaza at the base of Whistler Mountain. My News: iTod: Reproductor de MP3 para niños

Al parecer la compañía juguetera Fisher-Price sacará un reproductor de música especialmente creado para infantes de hasta 3 años (sobre esa edad ya saben usar el iPod mejor que uno). Además del aparato Fisher-Price haría su propia tienda online para bajar música apropiada para menores (nada de reggaeton). El volumen de los audífonos viene preajustado para que los chicos no se destrocen los tímpanos, además de incluir seis canciones y dos cuentos.

Personalmente eso de tener a un niño conectado a un aparato de música no me parece para nada sano.

The Life and Times of Joe: Joe's Weekly Roundup

Alright everyone, I might try and do this weekly if time permits. I'm going to post random things I've learned over the last week, a song I currently like, and more.

Joe's Song of the week - Who am I by the Peace Orchestra. Super mellow song, great to work to, or tune out for a few minutes. Thanks to SteveDUH for sending me a link to a cool touchscreen computer that had this song as the soundtrack.

Funny Video(s) of the week - For the designers out there, I give you "What if Microsoft redesigned the ipod packaging?" and for car enthusiasts, I give you the "Top Gear Season 7 review". Top Gear is my current favorite TV show out there, it's hilarious.

Joe's super-duper tech link of the week - Windows Live Local, pretty slick mapping software (currently only works in Seattle and San Francisco) that will not only show you an overhead view, but also let you look around from ground level. Check it out, it's cool.

To tell you all that im both, skier and boarder, i love them both so to peolpe who only like one or the other, shame on you. But to people who do both skiing and boarding, crongrates to you. Today was like a warm day, you could ski or board in a t-shirt it was pretty cool. Im working on my goggle tan and today was good day that will help, the sun was out and in the afternoon the snow was poopy. Teaching four hours today and only getting like an hour of free boardin was poppycock, wish i had more time to free board. In the afternoon for an hour my friend and i hit the park and bust some backside and frontside 360's as well as switch. It was pretty awsome. Ended up going up till the last ride, almost landed on my ipod so ended up flipping and saving my ipod but cracking my neck, oh well. Anyway off i go ciao, crazy people,

Old stuff: 14/7/2003

Hey guys you may or may not know that there is a levy (tax thing, but not collected by the government) on blank cd's in Canada. The current levy is $0.21 per blank CD. I can live with this, for some cool reasons I will mention below. Unfortunately the government wants to increase this levy to $0.59 per blank CD, almost a 3x increase. The worst part is yet to come. Anyone want one of those new fancy 40GB iPods? or how about a 60GB Zen? If the new levies go into place, the iPod would have a $840 levy put on it and the Zen a $1260 levy put on it. This is freaking outrageous! That's a $21 per GB of storage on portable music devices. They also want $1.23 per minidisc too. This is all before the cost of the devices, or the media. How much does an iPod cost now? $600 or so? with the levy that would be around $1440 for an iPod, sound reasonable? I think not. Though after a little more reading I found out that there is a loophole in the levy, if they pre-record some sounds onto the device they levy is gone, I know it's weird, but it is explained better here (http://neil.eton.ca/copylevy.shtml#are_they_insane)

You want to know what's really funny though, the levies are in place so that the artists and recording studios can get back some money from the "pirates" out there. (even the people who are just backing up system info to disk). The funny thing is that the people in charge of this levy have not paid the artists or anyone a single cent! They have collected more than 31 Million dollars. (and if these new rates are adopted, they expect to take in around 100 million a year).

"Your friends Alice and Benoit really like the new commercial CD you just purchased. Alice borrows it and makes a copy for her own use. She then passes the commercial CD on to Benoit, who makes a copy for his own use. Benoit gives the commercial CD back to you. This is all perfectly legal."

In the US this would be illegal under fair use (though you are allowed to make a personal backup of the CD, one copy only though). This is different than what I though, but pretty interesting. Funnily enough this is illegal:

"However, if Alice had copied the commercial CD, given it back to you, and passed her copy on to Benoit to make a copy for his own use, then copyright would have "probably" been infringed. There is some doubt here because Alice's original intent is important. In the strictest terms, her copy was no longer just for her private use."

In Dec. 2002, the Copyright Board announced its intention to extend existing rates into 2003 because of delays in finalizing new rates. Thus, new rates did not come into effect Jan. 1, 2003. This doesn't mean that they can't.
