Just four weeks until the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival rolls in to take over Whistler for 10 days and 10 nights of adenaline packed sports, arts, and music events.

This year marks the return of the Orage Masters, World Skiing Invitational's Big Air and Superpipe, and the addition of the Park'n'Fly Skate Jam and Monster's Grenade Games.

Also returning this year and bigger than ever are the infamous arts events including the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown, 72 Hour Filmmaker Showdown, Schick Fashion Exposed, State of the Art, Whistler Chef Challenge, and the new ThreePointOh Multimedia Challenge.

The festival doesn't stop there. When the sun sets the party is just getting started! The Kokanee Freeride Club Series, along with an onslaught of legendary parties, offers party-goers endless opportunities to rub elbows with the who's who of the industry. This year the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival really lives up to its modo: Party in April. Sleep in May.

Spent the past week in South BC.  Looks like the Salmo-Creston had loads of snow, I was pretty tempted to make a stop.  But I had no partner.

Skied Whitewater-  hiked actually- up to Catch Basin.  Knee deep blower the whole way down.  Best skiing I've done in a while. 

Sledded up at 6 mile- across the orange bridge in Nelson.  The local sled shop was nice enough to hook me up with some locals.  Find six mile road, drive up, park where you're comfortable and off you go.  Bagged a peak- about 7000ft.  I forget the name of it but you can see the Valhalla and the Kokanee Glacier ranges.  Some pretty tricky sections getting up there, we were the first to set tracks, a few fallen trees to negotiate.  Tons of switchbacks on the logging road, didn't veer too far from it when we got up into the bowl/alpine area.  Avy danger 'Considerable'. 

Did about 100km on 28L of fuel.  My M7 burnt as much gas as all the others out there, didn't feel too bad.  I'll get her tuned up when I get back to Nelson.

Hey All,

I got a new digicam for my birthday so there are a few pics up, check them out..there will be some better ones coming soon, these are just me fooling around with the cam..

For those of you who haven't heard, I found my wallet! Told you he had it...
