Well, Cas and I barely survived our trip to Stryn and Folgefonna, which are two summer ski resorts located on glaciers in the western parts of Norway, for those of you who did not know that. These are the days of our lives(haha) in the west:
Wednesday:Arrival at night, drinking shiitloads of beer, and going to bed(the tent). Crappy weather.
Thursday: Snowboarding, bad weather, getting home, getting drunk.
Friday: Snowboarding, hitting the corner of a box with my shin. Lots of blood, got four stitches (pictures will follow). Getting drunk, showing off my stitches, trying to score with the same girl Cas tried to score with. Ends up in tears and agony, and an agreement between the two of us not trying to get this exact girl. Sleeping in a tent which does not belong to us.
Saturday: Hungover as hell, taking a day off shredding. At 5 pm, I find myself in the exact same position in my camping chair as I was in 7 hours ago. Popping a couple of beers before meeting up with some crazed Finnish people. I join them for a ride to downtown Stryn for no apparent reason, and I remember skinny dipping and an angry farmer with a rake. It's all a blur until sometime at night, when I get chased out of a tent,which I am convinced is mine. It's not. Sleep.
Sunday: Drunk as hell at wake-up. Deciding not to hit the slopes, because of my inability to drive, stand up straight and general naucea. Meeting up with the Finns for oatmeal, Jägermeister, coffee and Carlsberg. Leaving them at 11pm, before heading to my beloved camping chair. Staying there for the rest of the day, leaving it only to wax my Capita. Sleep outside in the camping chair.
Monday: Shred first, then party, then sleep. My ability to drive the day after is improving.
Tuesday: Drive,shred,and drive to Folgefonna. I think. Yes. We did. We had to spend the night at the ferry quaye,where we met two skiers who were in the same position as ourselves. Blazing, drinking,and sleeping.
Wednesday: Out of money. A whole day of nothingness, before meeting up with the skiers again,grilling,drinking,smoking and sleep before ten.
Thursday: Money!!! Riding, jibbing,jumping and f*cking around on the slopes,before heading back to the camp and repeating yesterdays deeds of sleeping in early.
Friday: Improving the jibs! After that, a crazy f*cking party. Beer all around! I don't remember a whole lot.
Saturday: Hungover like crazy. After a rather fast conference, Cas and I decide to ditch the slopes and head back home. Ten minutes into the ride home, Cas pukes out of the car window at high speed. Hilarious! I had to stop the car for not to drive out of the road because of the hilarious sight of Cas hanging out of the window with his ass crack showing. We don't have a lot of gas left, and a bare minimum of cash to get us back home. We eventually make it. I now lie on the couch, still hungover. It's 3:47 am.
