I have been noticing more and more that what I said below varies greatly between which ski resort that you are at that day....certain types of people tend to go to certain resorts.  Some resorts seem great....others seem bad....

 

 

Skiers were a lot different when I started skiing about 27 years ago. Used to be that when someone nailed a nice jump, people on the lifts would cheer on....or if they missed a nice jump, they would "oooooh" him/her, as if to feel bad for them. Now, people laugh and make rude comments when someone wipes out.

Now, everyone and their dog skis, boards, skates, etc.....and a lot of them are far from experts, yet they can criticize others.

Seems to me that the sport has lost its camaradery, or maybe it's just me???

This is the best sport in the world. Why don't we cheer each other on....kinda like the way all bikers wave to each other when they cross paths....
