Well, as anyone who has been to Kingston Ontario knows. We can get all four seasons in the span of a couple days. We had that last week, with snow, then rain, then sunny and hot, and then cool and windy. Now we are finally back to snow, and hopefully it is here to stay. The store i work in is getting busy, and christmas lights are everywhere. Not to mention the libraries at school are packed, so it must be December exam time. I'm really hoping to get out skiing soon, but my hopes are fading that my knee will not be strong enough. I just got my notice in the mail for my surgery date (ACL reconstruction), so I will need to open that up and see when i'm getting knifed. I got so much new gear this year, 2 pairs of skis, boots, outerwear. I'm going to be bummed if i can't use it. There is always next year I guess, but i don't want to wait that long. Guess I'll just have to keep rehabbing that knee, and hope for the best in January.

it's starting to get cold and windy in ktown, and winter is on the way. it's sh*tty, cause i know it's going to be at least 6 weeks til we get any sort of snow that stays on the ground. but at least it's starting to feel like winter. can't wait for snow, and the season to start. i only have a few classes next term so i should be hitting the slopes a lot more this season. pass to tremblant, should be good times.

Well, summer weather has finally showed up in Kingston, and it's bloody hot and humid. But i'm not complaining, i enjoy the summer. Only 4 more days until i head out to Calgary to do a week of wakeboarding. I CAN'T WAIT. i've been thinking of wakeboarding all summer, and have not been able to go yet. which really sucks. but the next couple weeks are going to be sweet. i'll try to get some pics of my trip up when i'm back. cheers all.

well, summer is starting to show up. it's getting warmer, just need the rain to stop on my days off. this summer has been pretty good so far, i can't believe it's already a quarter over for me, how much does that suck. can't wait to get my new wakeboard, and start hitting the water.

well, it's been awhile. so, i'll update everyone on what i've been up to the past couple weeks. i've moved houses, a couple blocks, and i'm finally getting settled in to my new room. i've working at the store for a week now, after taking a break for exams. a ski store is really quite dead in the spring, haha.
that's about it, and a lot of drinking and partying. and i finally got internet in my house, so i can talk to you guys more. yeah

well, i made it through this week of hell at school. got my paper done today, got my assignment done, just one more assignment and one more lab for this year, then it's just finals between me and summer holidays. damn, i guess i should find a job. hope everyone had a good st. patrick's day. time to party tonight.

well, it's another week of hell as school for me. i really hate this place. i got up skiing last sunday at calabogie. it'll most likely be the last time i go this season.  i was hoping to work on my rails, but because of warm weather, the landing and takeoffs to the rails were in awful shape, and they were all closed. so i worked on my air. my goal was to get crossed into my 3s. I'm almost there with my cross 3s, they are there, but not very stylish. i also tried going inverted. It took me forever to psych myself up, but i tried a lincoln loop, and rode the first one away on my tails, i kept trying them, hoping to stomp one, but didn't get it. i tried 6 or 7. hurt my shoulder landing on it. but i'll try agian next year, prolly work on inverts in the summer on a tramp.

Well, school officially sucks. just when i thought reading week was going to be a nice break, and i'd have things pretty easy until finals....nope. so much sh*t this week, and again in a couple weeks. blah. and to make things worse, it's decided to get warm, and all the snow is melting. DAMN IT. I just wanna ski.

Well, i'm back from whis now. all i want is to go back. i hate ontario. i had a good time, not as much skiing as i was hoping, but a pulled back muscle will do that to ya. got a few really good days in. hucked a 40ft cliff, had a blast. love it there, moving there as soon as i graduate.

well, i'm down to less than 4 days til i leave for vancity, and then to whislter. but i do have 3 midterms sitting between me and that day. i really hate this school thing. i just wanna get out and ride. hopefully i'll make it through this week of hell, so i can ride in pure heaven. if anyone out in whis wants to take a run with me, let me know, i'd be great to have someone show me some good lines.

Well, we got dumped on last night here in Kingston. too bad we don't have a decent hill close by to make use of it. the closest hill is calabogie, which is 2 hours away. only 8 more days til Whistler though. i can't wait. just midterms in the way though, damn.

well, i'm back from the volkl ski test. what an amazing day. the weather and snow were perfect. the volkl and technica lines for the coming year look pretty awesome. the new twin tip is very sweet. you guys should check it out.

damn i hate school. 2 assignments due on friday, and then midterms starting next week. but only 16 more days til whistler. anyways, i'm out for the next couple of days, heading to mont blanc, to test next years volkls. they are supposed to get 40 cm of snow up there today, so, tomorrow=some pow.

well, another week has gone by. less than 18 days til i leave for vancouver, and whistler. i can't wait, ride a real mountain again. though i do get to ride mont blanc this week. it's going to be a busy week for me, with school and work. i have a couple assignments, and midterms coming up. plus a few shifts at work, and going to mont blanc to test next years skis. looking forward to that. til next time, cheers

yesterday was pretty sweet. i went into work, and my boss said that he wanted to talk to me. but we were both busy with customers for a while, so i had to think about why he wanted to talk to me for 2 hours. i thought i was in trouble. he finally talked to me. he said, he thought i was doing a good job there, and he wanted me to go test next years volkl skis next week. booya. so i get to take a day off school the test next years skis.

well, i wrote my exam last night, and that is how to crash and burn folks. looks like i have a date with that course again next year. oh well. i can't wait to get out skiing again. i probably won't get out for a couple weeks, maybe next sunday. only 22 days til whistler though. hell ya.

well, after today, life will get a bit easier for a while. i have my final (that i should have written in Dec) for biochem tonight. such a sh*tty course, and i'm pretty sure i'll be taking it again next year. DAMN. it's hard to study when all you can think about is skiing. only 23 days left til i leave for whistler. spending 10 days our west. prolly 6 maybe 7 skiing. if anyone wants to ride with me then, msg me. we might be able to work something out. i'm not huge into park yet, but if anyone wants to give me some pointers and stuff, i'll be bringing my scratchs out. well, that's it for today. cheers

Still bloody cold here in Kingston. getting warmer though. and not much snow in the forecast don't know when i'm going to get the chance to ski again. hopefully next weekend. this weekend is going to be spent working at the store and studying. not exactly the most fun. til next time, cheers.

SCHOOL SUCKS!!! i just wanna ski. i'm heading to whistler/blackcomb for reading week, only 28 days left. the season has been awful in ontario so far, we finally got some snow, but now we are in a deep freeze. it's colder here than in the NWT.
